Rob, Isn’t your normal PT, he’s incredibly good at listening and devising a programme that suits your particular problem areas, physical capabilities and actual level of fitness to begin with . He outlines a general plan, but tweaks it accordingly as you progress, it isnt short term, always his viewpoint is for long term achievable goals, for lasting health, fitness, strength and overall well being. He’s brilliantly patient, kind, caring. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Bravo Rob👏

We were recommended to Rob by a couple of clients who regularly train with him and had spoke about their sessions. Intrigued by the idea of training with parachutes, sparring, weighted vests and other techniques, I can honestly say that this appealed to us. We gave Rob a call, and the following week were training. That was 8 months ago, and even with the covid restrictions, no two sessions have been the same, which is so important as we get bored of routine. I love the variety of workouts and Rob isn’t a pushy trainer, he encourages but lets you take a break when you need it. Rob will even send me the workouts to do in the gym or my spare time. We couldn’t ask for a better trainer.

I have been training with Rob Dougan since January ‘21 and I have gone from someone who was very unfit to someone who enjoys training plus I am noticeably fitter already. The training is varied and enjoyable. I have found Rob to be very supportive and encouraging through my journey so far and I thoroughly look forward to my training days, I certainly put in 100% and the results are beginning to show. Rob is spot on with his training sessions and there are always surprises in there each time I train which is great for me as I never really know what each session will contain and this is perfect for me as it keeps my interest and my determination going. I was a very anxious about starting personal training sessions, feeling that I was too fat and too out of shape and that it would be just embarrassing and too hard! But I had signed up to do a charity challenge and knew that I needed to do something. Rob was incredibly supportive and encouraging throughout and at no point did I feel embarrassed as I attempted skipping for the first time in probably 20 years or any of the other variety of exercises he put me through. He came to my home and did sessions in the garden, even getting the kids involved to help distract them from trying to hang off my arms or jump on my back when I was exercising. I actually found myself enjoying the sessions and positively looking forward to the next one. I would highly recommend Rob and I particularly enjoy sparring which I had never done before and may even invest in a punchbag to hang in the garden!
